Uzbekistan and Estonia hold political consultations

The Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Political Affairs Kyllike Sillaste-Elling headed the delegation of Estonia.

The sides discussed all complex of bilateral relations, including in format of Uzbekistan-EU, interaction within the UN and other international organizations.

The sides also discussed current state and perspective directions of developing cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.

The sides expressed mutual interest in expanding multilateral relations, taking into account significant potential and realization of joint projects in priority spheres for Uzbekistan and Estonia.

At the consultations, the officials paid great attention to issues of expanding bilateral legal framework for cooperation.

The Uzbek delegation also held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Marina Kaljurand and at the Association of Travel and Tourism.
