Uzbekistan and Estonia Expand Trade, Economic Cooperation and Industrial Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 10 June, Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with a delegation of Estonian business representatives led by Jaak Ora, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Uzbekistan. The meeting was also attended by Timur Rakhmonov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia.
The parties discussed ways to further strengthen trade and economic ties, expand mutual investment cooperation, and implement new industrial partnership projects.
It was noted that the favorable geographic positions and infrastructure capabilities of both Uzbekistan and Estonia offer strong potential for bilateral cooperation, including access to third-country markets.
Support was expressed for Estonian entrepreneurs’ initiatives to establish joint ventures in Uzbekistan, launch technological projects, and collaborate in digital economy, logistics, and green energy.
The parties agreed to organize a business delegation visit from Uzbekistan to Estonia by the end of the second quarter of this year. The visit is expected to take practical cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
