Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov held talks with Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Egypt Ayman Ashur.

The parties agreed on the issue of attracting Egyptian specialists in the field of journalism, tourism and natural sciences to Uzbekistan. A draft roadmap for the development of cooperation in the field of education for 2023-2024 was also prescribed.

It should be noted that strong ties have been established between Uzbekistan and Egypt in the field of higher education, in particular, in the study of the Arabic language and Arabic literature, Islamic studies, source studies, the economy of the countries of the Arab East, pharmacology, agriculture, veterinary medicine, etc.
