Uzbekistan and Czech Republic Discuss Training Specialists for Czech Labor Market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Director of the Uzbekistan Migration Agency Behzod Musaev met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Uzbekistan Lubomir Frébort.

During the talks, the parties discussed training qualified personnel for the Czech labor market and the development of organized labor migration. Particular attention was paid to preparing specialists in the medical field, including nurses and caregivers for the elderly.

It was reported that the Czech Republic annually allocates 150 quotas for work visas to Uzbek citizens. The Czech side expressed interest in the activities of Tashkent-based training courses aimed at preparing medical personnel for work abroad.

The parties agreed to continue practical cooperation in this area.
