Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 February 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullayev held a video conference with Rеfik Šabanović, Ambassador of Croatia to Uzbekistan (with residence in Astana).

During the talks, the parties discussed the organized dispatch of Uzbek citizens to Croatia for employment, the development of a legal framework for labor migration, and the involvement of Croatian specialists in training potential migrant workers.

Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in external labor migration and enhancing interaction between the relevant agencies of both countries.
