Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 6 May, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Ilzat Kasimov held a meeting with Yu Jun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Uzbekistan.

The two sides discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, reviewed the progress achieved in the area of investments, and examined preparations for the upcoming Second Uzbekistan–China Interregional Forum, scheduled to take place on June 1–2 this year in Samarkand.

More than 1,500 representatives from business and government circles of both Uzbekistan and China are expected to attend the forum.

The program will feature a joint Uzbekistan–China business forum, thematic panel sessions, and an exhibition of national products from both countries.
