Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26–27 August, negotiations were held in Tashkent between the joint-stock company “Uztemiryoulkontainer” and the Chinese company “Xinjiang Union of International Railway Logistics Co. Ltd.”

The discussions focused on the activities of the joint venture “UTK International Logistics Co. Ltd.” and the prospects for developing transport corridors in the region. Special attention was given to organizing multimodal cargo transportation and improving the efficiency of logistics cooperation.

As a result of the talks, an agreement was reached to launch multimodal transport from Uzbekistan to China via the route “Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan – China.”

In the future, the corridor “China – Kyrgyzstan – Uzbekistan” is expected to expand regular cargo shipments and ensure deliveries from China to Tajikistan and Türkiye.
