Uzbekistan and China hold session of subcommittee on cooperation in energy sphere

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The third session of the subcommittee on cooperation in sphere on energy of the Uzbek-Chinese intergovernmental committee of cooperation was held in Beijing (China) on 12 June 2015, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan said on 25 June.

Representatives of corresponding ministries, departments and companies of Uzbekistan and China participated in the session.

The Chinese delegation was led by deputy chairperson of the State Committee on development and reforms and chairperson of the National Energy Administration Nur Bekri. The Chinese delegation included representatives of the National Energy Administration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CNPC, CGNPC, China Coal T&E Group, Yingli Green Energy Holding Co and other bodies.

The sides discussed current state of bilateral cooperation in energy sector and perspectives of expanding sustainable mutual beneficial interaction.

Within the event, the sides signed a protocol and a document on further boosting cooperation in energy sector.
