Uzbekistan and China discuss expansion of cooperation in energy and infrastructure
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of the International Forum "Uzbekistan Oil and Gas," a meeting was held between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and the General Director of China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC), Ni Zhen.
During the meeting, issues related to strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China were discussed, as well as expanding CEEC's involvement in the implementation of projects in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and industry.
The parties thoroughly examined prospects for cooperation in electricity generation, the development of renewable energy sources, and the introduction of modern engineering and construction technologies.
Special attention was given to the construction of complex technological facilities, personnel training, and the expansion of digitalization.
