Uzbekistan and Cerberus Frontier Discuss Digitalization and Investments

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with a delegation from the U.S. company Cerberus Frontier, led by Managing Director Michael Nibladze.

At the start of the meeting, the guests were given a presentation on the capabilities of IT Park. The parties discussed Uzbekistan’s digitalization processes, telecommunications market reforms, and prospects for attracting investments to the sector.

Representatives of Cerberus Frontier and Unitel Group shared experiences in implementing joint projects under Senior’s Capital Management, as well as projects carried out in Georgia and Mongolia.

Minister Shermatov highlighted Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing population, favorable conditions in the IT and telecom sectors, tax incentives, and expanding infrastructure.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on the development of infrastructure and the conditions provided by IT Park for investors. Both sides emphasized that the discussion would serve as a foundation for future joint projects and creating new opportunities in the country’s digital economy.
