Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13–14 July, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, paid a working visit to Bulgaria.

During the trip, he held negotiations with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Grozdan Karadjov, heads of relevant ministries, as well as representatives of leading Bulgarian companies and financial institutions.

The central focus of the agenda was the implementation of the agreements reached during the Bulgarian President’s visit to Tashkent in June. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in launching joint projects in key areas such as geological exploration, transport and logistics, construction, energy, digitalization, environmental protection, and agro-industry.

Particular emphasis was placed on developing transport connectivity and industrial cooperation. A major practical step in this direction will be the sixth session of the Intergovernmental Commission and a business forum, scheduled to take place in October in Tashkent.

All agreed initiatives will be incorporated into a joint “roadmap” and placed under continuous oversight.
