Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 11 June 2025, Tashkent hosted the Uzbekistan-Bulgaria Business Forum as part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev. The event also featured G2B (government-to-business) and B2B (business-to-business) meetings.

More than 200 representatives from the business communities of both countries took part in the forum.

During the event, Uzbekistan’s investment potential was showcased in detail. President Radev praised the wide-ranging reforms being implemented in the country, underscoring Bulgaria’s interest in deepening economic ties.

Discussions focused on expanding bilateral trade, launching joint projects, exploring third-country markets, and enhancing cooperation in high-tech sectors.

As a result of the talks, both sides agreed to develop and adopt a joint “Roadmap” outlining priority areas of cooperation.

Several agreements were signed following the forum, covering sectors such as construction, pharmaceuticals, food and petrochemical industries, and logistics. Concrete steps were also outlined to further strengthen bilateral collaboration.
