Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 2 September 2025, a sectional meeting titled “Uzbekistan and Belarus: Business Partnership in the Tourism Industry” was held in Vitebsk as part of the Third Business Forum of Women Entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Belarus.

The discussion brought together representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, associations, and tourism companies from both countries. Participants exchanged experiences on sustainable tourism development, strengthening interregional ties, and training specialists.

Key initiatives included the promotion of joint tourism products in international markets, the development of academic exchange between educational institutions, and the introduction of digital technologies, including the creation of a unified tourism information and analytics portal.

Special attention was given to showcasing the cultural and historical potential of Uzbekistan’s destinations — Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva — as well as Belarus’s landmarks and unique travel routes.

Following the meeting, a “roadmap” of activities for 2026–2028 was signed to enhance cooperation between the Association of Private Tourism Organizations of Uzbekistan and the Republican Union of the Tourism Industry of Belarus.
