Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 March 2021, political consultations took place between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The delegations of the parties were led by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Farkhod Arziyev and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Guryanov.

The delegations discussed in detail the current state and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as exchanged views on the international and regional agenda.

The progress of the implementation of previously reached agreements and the schedule of upcoming joint events at various levels were considered.
