Uzbekistan and Belarus Discuss Streamlining Logistics and Export of Uzbek Products

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of an official visit, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhabov, held talks with the major Belarusian logistics company Beltamozhservice, which operates under the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

The discussions focused on the supply of Uzbek products to the Belarusian market and the organization of logistics.

Beltamozhservice has been operating in logistics and customs services for 25 years, managing nearly 1 million square meters of warehouse and logistics facilities across the country. The company has eight branches, 60 trade and service points, a workforce of approximately 3,500 employees, as well as a fleet of vehicles and refrigerated storage facilities.

During the negotiations with CEO Dmitry Kovalyonok, both sides discussed simplifying logistics and customs procedures for Uzbek exporters.

The meeting concluded with an agreement on close cooperation aimed at providing practical support to Uzbek companies entering the Belarusian market, facilitating contract execution, addressing logistics issues, and systematically regulating import and export processes.
