Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 April, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry, Energy, and Innovation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Alexander Sheldyaev.

During the talks, the parties discussed promising areas for further development of cooperation, including interregional interaction as well as partnerships in machine tool building, the light industry, and the exchange of personnel and technologies.

The positive dynamics of trade turnover between the regions of Uzbekistan and Bashkortostan were noted, with an increase of 11.8% recorded at the end of 2024.

An agreement was reached to organize the export of fruit and vegetable products and textiles to Bashkortostan.

In addition, the parties discussed plans to establish a joint technopark in Uzbekistan to host companies from Bashkortostan, and the Bashkortostan side expressed interest in opening a trading house in the country.
