Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Akbar Sultanov, Chairman of the “Uzcharmsanoat” Association, held talks with Mehdi Mahbub, founder and CEO of Best Sourcing (Bangladesh), a well-known business expert in the light industry sector.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between the industrial sectors of the two countries.

Agreements were reached on several key areas:

Practical collaboration is planned in the production and export of finished leather, footwear, leather accessories, and raw materials.

The Uzbek side presented the country’s investment opportunities, including special economic zones and the sector’s export potential. Projects involving investors from Bangladesh are currently under development.

The parties agreed to prepare an action plan to establish a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership.

A decision was made to expand sectoral cooperation, develop human resources, promote investment initiatives, and actively represent Uzbekistan’s leather industry internationally.
