Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Focus on Developing Green Energy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov. At the start of the meeting, the minister conveyed sincere greetings and warm wishes from President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.

During the talks, both sides discussed further expansion and deepening of the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. They noted with satisfaction the active contacts at all levels, steady growth in bilateral trade, and successful development of cooperation, including in the energy sector.

Special attention was given to promoting joint projects in oil and gas, geological exploration, green energy, and the chemical industry.
