Uzbekistan and Armenia Discuss Cooperation in Sustainable Agriculture

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Arman Hovhoyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, held a working meeting with Alisher Shukurov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the ongoing Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA) in Germany.

The sides discussed the efficient use of water resources, emphasizing the importance of implementing modern and sustainable water management practices to increase agricultural productivity, adapt to climate change, and ensure the long-term development of the sector.

During the dialogue, key aspects of the agricultural sector were reviewed, and prospective directions for bilateral cooperation in sustainable agriculture were outlined.
