Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 May 2025, Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, held talks with Ma Hualong, General Director for Central Asia and the CIS countries at the Chinese company AECC Gas Turbine, one of the leading manufacturers of gas turbine installations in China.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and AECC Gas Turbine, paying special attention to the potential for implementing joint projects aimed at introducing modern gas turbine technologies at the country’s industrial enterprises.

The Chinese side expressed its readiness to develop the partnership and participate in relevant initiatives.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed on the timeline for signing a memorandum of understanding and commencing preliminary project work.
