Uzbekistan Airways to launch new building of Ferghana Airport

The airline said that new building of Ferghana Airport will start to work on the eve of the Independence Day of Uzbekistan (1 September).

The project cost is 18 billion soums. The project envisages installation of modern air conditioning and ventilation system, luggage processing and fire safety systems. The fuel warehouse was relocated and reconstructed.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari also created comfortable conditions for passengers. Now the passengers will receive all service in the first floor and they will not have to go to the second floor with the luggage.

The capacity of the airport will remain the same. Now, the airport can provide services for 400 people an hour.
