Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – From 1 March 2020, Uzbekistan Airways has temporarily suspended regular flights to Seoul due to the outbreak of coronavirus in South Korea and to prevent the spread of this virus in Uzbekistan.

According to the airline, passengers departing from Seoul on HY514 on 29 February will be sent to the temporary accommodation center upon arrival. In this regard, the airline asked passenger relatives not to meet them at the Tashkent airport.

In addition, the company said that together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, enhanced safety measures have been introduced on all flights of the airline, including sanitary-quarantine measures and medical-sanitary control of people crossing the state border of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
