Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan Airways launches the Eastern Hub project, which will use the international airports of the cities of Namangan and Ferghana to expand the route network from the region to the cities of the Russian Federation and far abroad cities popular among the residents of the Ferghana Valley.

From 31 January 2022, Uzbekistan Airways starts operating direct regular flights from Namangan to Moscow, Perm, Samara, Omsk, Orenburg, Irkutsk, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg on the basis of Full Economy (full economy class) air transportation on Uzbekistan Airways Express aircraft. As demand grows, the expansion of the route network from Namangan will also be considered.

At the moment, there are flights to Moscow, Kazan and Istanbul from the international airport of the city of Ferghana, which was the first stage in the organization of the Eastern hub.

After the completion of the second stage of the hub’s development - the start of flights from Namangan, Uzbekistan Airways will begin the third stage - increasing the number of flights from Ferghana, as well as expanding the route network from Ferghana International Airport. At the same time, flights from Ferghana are organized exclusively on the basis of classic (business and economy classes) air transportation.

To date, the cost of air tickets for flights from Namangan to cities of the Russian Federation in the directions are:

Namangan - Moscow - Namangan, flights are operated five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays:

• Namangan - Moscow, no luggage, non-refundable air ticket: from 1 582 000 soums without luggage;

• Namangan - Moscow, with luggage, return ticket: from 1,717,000 with a free baggage allowance of 15 kg.

Namangan - Perm - Namangan, flights are operated on Saturdays:

• Namangan - Perm, no luggage, non-refundable: from 1 816 000 soums without luggage;

• Namangan - Perm, with luggage, return air ticket: from 2,023,000 with a free baggage allowance of 15 kg.

Namangan - Samara - Namangan, flights are carried out twice a week, on Sundays / Mondays and Wednesdays / Thursdays (night flights, passing to the next day):

• Namangan - Samara, no luggage, non-refundable: from 1,728,000 soums;

• Namangan - Samara, with luggage, return air ticket: from 1,899,000 with a free baggage allowance of 15 kg.

Namangan - Omsk - Namangan, flights are operated on Fridays:

• Namangan - Omsk, no luggage, non-refundable: from 1 829 000 sum;

• Namangan - Omsk, with luggage, return air ticket: from 2,036,000 with a free baggage allowance of 15 kg. 

Namangan - Orenburg - Namangan, flights are performed on Mondays:

• Namangan - Orenburg, no luggage, non-refundable: from 1 838 000 sum;

• Namangan - Orenburg, with luggage, return air ticket: from 2,046,000 with a free baggage allowance of 15 kg.

Namangan - Irkutsk - Namangan, flights are operated on Wednesdays:

• Namangan - Irkutsk, no luggage, non-refundable: from 2 053 000 soums; 

• Namangan - Irkutsk, with luggage, return air ticket: from 2,297,000 with a free baggage allowance of 15 kg.

Namangan - Krasnodar - Namangan, flights are performed on Thursdays:

• Namangan - Krasnodar, no luggage, non-refundable: from 1 813 000 sum;

• Namangan - Krasnodar, with luggage, return air ticket: from 2,008,000 with a free baggage allowance of 15 kg.

Namangan - Yekaterinburg - Namangan, flights are in operation, on Thursdays / Fridays (night flight, rolling over to the next day):

• Namangan - Yekaterinburg, no luggage, non-refundable: from 1 869 000 sum;

• Namangan - Yekaterinburg, with luggage, return air ticket: from 2,052,000 with a free baggage allowance of 15 kg.
