Uzbekistan Airways receives Russian helicopter

The source said that the delivery of helicopter was completed and the airline started its exploitation.

Russian Helicopters Holding and Uzbekistan Havo Yollari signed a contract for delivery of helicopter on 29 January 2014. The cost of the contract is US$12.7 million and Uzbekistan Havo Yollari financed the purchase due to own resources.

Special Aviation Works Airline of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari received the helicopter Mi-8MTV-1 and uses it.

Special Aviation Works Airline was founded in 1997 as part of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and conducts special aviation works like air chemical works at agriculture, render services to Uzgidromed and Emergency Ministry.
