Uzbekistan Airways Posts Over 1.2 Trillion Soums in Net Profit for 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan Airways JSC closed 2025 with a net profit of 1.2 trillion soums, marking a 73.5% increase compared to the previous year.

In the fourth quarter, the airline earned 482.4 billion soums in net profit, representing a 149.4% rise from the same period in 2024.

For the year, the company’s other operating expenses were more than halved, falling from 1.5 trillion to 0.7 trillion soums, while interest expenses increased from 313.6 billion to 511.7 billion soums amid higher debt levels.

Long-term bank loans grew from 6.8 trillion to 7.8 trillion soums, and short-term loans stood at 152.9 billion soums at year-end.

Key financial indicators for Uzbekistan Airways in 2025 include total assets of 23.1 trillion soums (+28.7% year-on-year), equity of 8.6 trillion soums (+7.9% y/y), retained earnings of 1.3 trillion soums (+345.4% y/y), and net revenue of 18.3 trillion soums (+4.3% y/y).
