During the presentation “Uzbekistan as tourism direction” in Kiev on Wednesday, he said that it is possible to increase number of flights if International Airline of Ukraine does not want to fly to Tashkent.
He said that the Uzbek company is also studying possibility of launch of flights between Odessa and Tashkent. Currently, the business plan of the flight was developed and waits for approval. He said that the flight can be launched in summer 2014.
Erkin Ubaydullaev underlined that Uzbekistan Havo Yollari currently flies from Tashkent to Simferopel twice a week and carries out seasonal flights from Samarkand to Simferopel.
Commercial director of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari said that currently the airline has 10 Airbus 320 airplanes, five Boeing 757-200 planes, eight Boeing 767-300ER planes, seven IL-114-100 aircrafts and two Airbus 300-600 airplanes.
Ubaydullaev said that the company is planning to receive two Boeing 787 Dreamliner airplanes in 2016.
