Uzbekistan Airways marks 10th anniversary of use of Il-114-100

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) marked the 10th anniversary of exploitation of locally made aircraft Il-114-100, the press service of the company said.

Uzbekistan national airline received its first Il-114-100 aircraft on 10 January 2003. On 4 July 2003, the airplane conducted the first regular flight on route Tashkent-Bukhara-Tashkent.

Modern modification of Il-114 was created in cooperation of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and Tashkent Aircraft Construction Plant named after Chkalov.

Il-114-100 airplane is used to carry out regional flights. Currently, five airplanes of Il-114-100 modification are used to carry out flights to all cities of Uzbekistan.
