Uzbekistan Airways makes a test flight to Sariasia Airport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of specialized specialists from the Ministry of Transport, the Uzaviation Agency, Uzbekistan Airports and Uzbekistan Airways made a test flight on the Let L-410 aircraft in the direction of Tashkent - Termez - Sariasia - Tashkent.

The working group checked the Sariasia airport for compliance with ICAO requirements, studied the capabilities of the airfield, the ability to receive ATR-72 600 aircraft, and also determined the need to build a passenger terminal.

It is planned that in the near future regular flights from Tashkent on aircraft such as Let L-410 and ATR-72 600 will be launched to Sariasia Airport.
