Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 November 2021, in the afternoon, passengers began arriving at the Navoi international airport with the intention to fly away on the flights of the Russian airline IFly on the routes Navoi - Moscow and Navoi - St. Petersburg. However, these flights were not on the schedule.

According to passengers, they purchased air tickets from different branches of the Vostok Bukhara located in Samarkand, Bukhara and Urgench. By 18.00 local time, about 200 people had accumulated at the airport.

Employees of the Navoi airport contacted the company that sold the tickets, demanded to provide passengers with the necessary information and to resolve the situation. Representatives of the company said that all passengers will be refunded for tickets. At the moment, passengers are leaving the terminal building.

Uzbekistan Airports JSC has nothing to do with the sale of air tickets.
