Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 12 April, a meeting is being held in Termez between the leadership of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and an Afghan delegation headed by Chairman of the Afghan Railway Department Bakhtulrahman Sharafat.

The Afghan side thanked the Uzbek side for the measures and efforts taken to strengthen bilateral relations, increase the volume of cargo transportation to / from Afghanistan, as well as the assistance provided in the timely processing of goods.

The importance of joint implementation of infrastructure projects was noted, in particular the project for the construction of the Termez-Mazar-i-Sharif-Kabul-Peshawar railway line.

The bilateral meeting of the delegations of the two countries continues its work.
