Uzbekistan Advances Smart Hospital Project with Huawei

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan is implementing the Smart Hospital project, aimed at integrating advanced technologies into the healthcare system.

Deputy Minister of Health Olim Omonov held a working meeting with a delegation from Huawei Tech Investment Tashkent, led by Deputy Directors Yan Toyuan and Suli Gayrat.

During the discussions, the parties reviewed the selection of a pilot region for the project, strategies for training and upskilling medical personnel, and legal aspects of bilateral collaboration.

Huawei representatives proposed a three-tiered training system covering healthcare workers, management staff, and ICT specialists.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to further develop digital medicine in Uzbekistan, implement advanced technologies, and expand cooperation between the country and Huawei.
