Uzbek, Turkmen FMs discuss bilateral relations

Rashid Meredov is paying an official visit to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of developing bilateral relations, ways and mechanisms of strengthening contacts among foreign affairs ministries of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The sides considered perspectives of strengthening mutual beneficial Uzbek-Turkmen relations within preparations to upcoming meetings at high level.

Foreign Ministers of two states also exchanged opinion on actual regional and international problems.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan Shiri Shiriev participated in the negotiations.
