Uzbek, Turkey FMs hold negotiations in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 April 2017, Uzbekistan and Turkey signed a programme of cooperation between the ministries of foreign affairs for 2017-2018.

The document was signed in the result of the meeting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Tashkent.

According to the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the ministers discussed current state and perspectives of developing bilateral relations in political, trade-econonomic, investment, military-technical and other spheres in light of realization of agreements, reached at high level of the President of Uzbekistan and Turkey in Samarkand on 17-18 November 2016.

Within the eighth round of political consultations of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Turkey, the sides underlined closeness and coincidence of positions on virtually all the issues discussed.

They also considered actual international problems.

Ministers signed the programme of cooperation between the ministries of foreign affairs for 2017-2018 and joint statement for mass media.
