Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 26 February, the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Dvornik. The parties discussed issues of further development of bilateral cooperation.
In particular, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Dvornik proposed to supply of special equipment of various modifications, manufactured by companies such as AMKODOR and MAZ, to the Uzbek market and the creation of joint production facilities.
Transport Minister Elyor Ganiyev said that Uzbekistan has created competitive conditions for all foreign companies based on market relations. He also noted that Uzbekistan and Belarus are equally interested in the further development of mutually beneficial and multifaceted cooperation.
The parties praised the positive and constructive cooperation of the two countries in the field of transport. It was noted that due to the high pace of development of cooperation, the volume of trade between the two countries increased by 150%. It was agreed that the parties have great potential for the further growth of this indicator and will continue to develop cooperation in this area.
