Uzbek, Tajik Universities Sign Nearly 60 Agreements
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Nearly 60 documents aimed at strengthening bilateral academic cooperation were signed during the third forum of rectors from higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan held in Dushanbe.
More than 20 contracts, agreements and memorandums provide for the exchange of students and faculty, the organization of joint educational programs and the implementation of collaborative scientific research.
Particular attention was given to expanding academic mobility as well as organizing joint international conferences and forums.
The signed documents are expected to elevate cooperation between leading universities of the two countries to a new level, strengthening ties in science, education and innovation.
