Uzbek Student Honored with “Best of Nation” Award at WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 27 to 29 November 2025, the international professional skills championship WorldSkills Asia Taipei 2025 took place in Taipei, China, where the Uzbek delegation delivered an impressive performance.

Uzbekistan was represented by 32 participants across 16 skill categories, showcasing their professional knowledge and expertise.

As a result of the competition, Ikbolmirzo Abdusamadov, a student of the Shirin Energy College in the Syrdarya region, was awarded the prestigious WorldSkills International “Best of Nation” honor in the Electrical Installation category, recognizing his active participation, professionalism, and responsibility.

The “Best of Nation” award is an esteemed international accolade given to participants who demonstrate exceptional commitment and uphold their country’s honor at the championship.
