Uzbek, Russian labour ministers hold talks in Moscow
Within the meeting, the sides signed an order of holding monitoring on execution between Uzbekistan and Russia of agreement on mutual recognition of rights for compensation for harm caused to employees by an injury, occupational disease or other health damage related to the performance of their duties from 9 September 1994.
The monitoring will be conducted in relation to people, who are receivers of insurance policy in line with the articles of 2 and 3 agreements and live in Russia and Uzbekistan permanently.
Maxim Topilin said that the monitoring will ensure timely transfer of compensations to injured people.
Ministers of two states considered a draft agreement between Uzbekistan and Russia on organization of hiring of citizens of Uzbekistan for conducting labour activities in Russia.
The document will regulate issues of social insurance and labour relations. The sides agreed on further cooperation in social-labour relations.
Aziz Abdukhakimov expressed interest in exchanging experience with the Russian side such as labour migration, social insurance, labour protection, control and supervision over compliance to labour legislation, etc.
