Uzbek, Russian delegations discuss training of labour migrants
The Russian delegation included officials of the State Institution of Russian language named after Pushkin and Association of Legal Assistance to Labour Migrants.
The meeting was part of work conducted to implement agreements, reached by the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia, including hiring citizens of Uzbekistan for temporary work in Russia.
During the meeting the sides considered issues of organization of state testing on Russian language in Uzbekistan, organization of trainings on Russian language at the Center for pre-departure training of labour migrants in Ferghana city.
It was noted that creation of such centers in the Uzbek regions will help to train labour migrants, travelling to Russia. Knowledge of language, customs and culture, as well as laws of the host country is important part of civilized and organize labour migration.
The Russian side presented activities of State Institution of Russian language named after Pushkin, including on teaching to Russian language, training teachers and developing teaching materials.
