Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Rescuers from Uzbekistan removed 11 injured and 33 dead from the rubble in a powerful earthquake in Turkiye. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan sent 100 rescuers to Turkiye to help in overcoming the consequences of the natural disaster. Uzbekistan also sent humanitarian aid to Turkiye.

Rescuers of Uzbekistan conduct search and rescue operations in the village of Ovakent in the province of Hatay, where ethnic Uzbeks live.
