Uzbek President vows to maintain VAT and corporate tax rates until 2028
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a meeting with entrepreneurs in Tashkent on March 19, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that the value-added tax (VAT) and corporate tax rates will remain unchanged until 1 January 2028, the presidential press service reported.
Additionally, the country will introduce a moratorium on regulatory documents that impose new requirements and obligations on small and medium-sized enterprises.
The president also announced that penalties totaling 1 trillion soums, accumulated by agricultural producers due to late tax payments, will be written off.
