Uzbek President signs resolution on shifting days off
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution on 18 August on shifting the days off in connection with celebration of the 19th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence.
The document said the move was adopted to create favourable conditions for rest of population and rational use of working time.
The document said Saturday, 28 August, and Sunday, 29 August, will be working days, while Monday, 30 August, and Tuesday, 31 August, will be days off.
