Uzbek President meets with chairperson of the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce

Uzbek leader said that the visit of the US business circles and organization of the business forum confirm mutual interest and intention to develop mutual beneficial trade-economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the US.

The two sides discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in trade-economic, investment, technological, innovation and educational spheres.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Carolyn Lamm discussed perspective projects in various spheres of economy, including agriculture, electrical, pharmaceutical and other fields, based on attraction of excellence, equity and modern technological advances of the leading US organizations and companies.

The sides discussed the issues of creation of new mechanisms of cooperation aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the economic sphere.

Carolyn Lamm confirmed the readiness of all members of the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce to actively participate in the implementation of joint programs and projects of cooperation with Uzbekistan.
