Uzbek President inspects several projects in Bukhara

Uzbek head familiarized with the project on reconstruction of the street, which named after the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

Mirziyoyev said that the street should be worthy of the name of Islam Karimov, construction work should be carried out by qualified contractors.

Uzbek President got acquainted with the project on construction of the Universal Sports Complex, which will be built at the intersection of Islam Karimov and Ibn Sino streets.

The complex will host national and international sport competitions on 15 types of sport. There will be summer and winter sport fields.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized with the construction of 57apartment houses at Gijduvon, Bahovuddin Haqshband, Ibn SIbo and Navoi streets of Bukhara city.

President got acquainted with the project of construction of the block of artisans in the historical part of the city. It will consist of two-storey houses with traditional handicraft workshops.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions on work related to the revival of the history of Bukhara, its ancient bazaars, the wide attraction of tourists to the block of artisans, the creation of opportunities for evening walks, the demonstration of the traditions of national handicraft and entertainment programs.
