Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev examined new 16-storey buildings on Taron Street in Ferghana city.
Ferghana is one of the most densely populated cities in the country. Therefore, such modern multi-storey buildings play an important role in meeting the growing needs of the population.
In particular, these two 16-storey buildings with adjoining territory occupied an area of 11 acres. Now 160 families live here. Part of the apartments will be provided to socially vulnerable families.
During the construction, special attention was paid to the requirements of seismic resistance and modern urban planning. High quality energy saving materials were used. Next to the houses there is a playground and parking. A school for 420 students was built. A kindergarten for 380 children is being built.
The head of state visited the Ilgor makhalla of Ferghana region, where he got acquainted with the technology of low-cost construction of internal roads.
About 39 thousand kilometers of internal roads in our country are sandy. Most of the previously built paved roads are in need of repair. Paving all of these roads is expensive.
In connection with this, 5 different road surface options have been prepared from a mixture of local materials, such as sand, gravel, limestone, crushed stone, cement.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with these samples. The specialists in the field provided information on the composition, cost and quality of road surfaces.
The President supported these developments and stressed the need to refine them from an engineering point of view, to select the most optimal option based on an accurate calculation of raw materials reserves and required equipment.
