Uzbek President familiarizes with healthcare projects

Uzbek leader got acquainted with repair of the building of the center, which will comply international standards and equipped with modern medical equipment, construction of new waiting room, resuscitation room, computer tomography room, and a surgery room. New ambulances will be delivered to the center as well.

President familiarized with the project on construction-repair works in Bukhara branch of the Republican specialized urology center.

According to the project, the institution will have rooms for endourological surgery, remote lithotripsy, ultrasound and x-ray, etc. The rooms will be equipped with modern medical equipment.

Mirziyoyev also received information on construction of new campus of Bukhara state medical institute and the building of the clinic.

Within the project, it is planned to construct new campus of Bukhara state medical institutes for 900 places, clinics for 200 places. Both buildings will receive modern equipment.

Uzbek head gave his recommendations on training highly skilled specialists and establish cooperation ties with leading foreign universities, as well as further raising medical culture of population.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized with the project of construction-repair works at the system of Vabkent Medical Union.

President gave instructions to take into account the requirements of the population while optimizing the work of rural medical stations, effective use of medical equipment contained in them, attracting highly qualified personnel, as well as the prevention and effective treatment of diseases.
