Uzbek President expresses condolences to Turkish leader

“President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has sent a letter of condolences to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan in connection with the terrorist act in Ankara on 17 February 2016, which led to numerous casualties,” the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.

Uzbek leader expressed his deep condolences to the President and the people of Turkey and expressed heartfelt sympathy to the families and friends of the victims.

At least 28 people have been killed and at least 60 injured in a rush-hour car bombing targeting military personnel in the heart of the Turkish capital on 17 February 2016.
