Uzbek President expresses condolences to French president

In his message, President Islam Karimov noted that he received with a sense of deep sorrow the tragic news of numerous casualties and conveyed words of sympathy and compassion to the families and friends of those killed and injured.

At least 84 people were killed - 10 of them children - in a terror attack on France as the country celebrated Bastille Day.

In the sickening attack, a lorry loaded with weapons and hand grenades was driven down a pavement in Nice for more than a 2 km before police shot dead the driver.
