Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has departed for Khorezm region.

The purpose of the trip is to study, in the context of mahallas, how the ongoing reforms have had effect on the lives of people, and decide on plans.

The President is expected to get acquainted with the activities of agricultural and industrial enterprises. The Uzbek leader will hold meetings with local activists and youth.
