Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 2 December, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The head of our state cordially congratulated the Crown Prince, the leadership and friendly people of the Emirates on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the state, sincerely wishing peace, well-being, further progress and prosperity.

The high achievements of the UAE in the field of state building and economic development, which received wide international recognition and were once again demonstrated at the EXPO World Exhibition, held in Dubai, were especially noted.

During the conversation, topical issues included in the agenda of the Uzbek-Emirates multifaceted cooperation were considered.

The fruitful practical interaction and successful promotion of joint projects in the field of alternative energy, industry, agriculture, infrastructure modernization, management training and other priority areas with the participation of leading organizations, companies and financial institutions of the Emirates was noted with satisfaction.

The importance of continuing an active dialogue and exchanges was emphasized in order to identify new "breakthrough" directions and programs of long-term partnership.

The Crown Prince reaffirmed the commitment of the Emirates side to further strengthen traditionally friendly and close bilateral relations, and also spoke in favor of continuing full-scale cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE.

The telephone conversation between the leaders of the two countries took place in a friendly, confidential and business atmosphere.
