Uzbek President congratulates Frank-Walter Steinmeier

Uzbek leader in his message noted that the election of Frank-Walter Steinmeier to the post of the German President shows high level of trust and respect to him. Uzbek President said that Frank-Walter Steinmeier made a huge contribution to the strengthening of international reputation of Germany, one of the world leaders possessing significant economic, technological and intellectual potential.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev said Uzbekistan highly appreciates that Germany was among those countries to recognize independence of the country.

Mirziyoyev expressed hope for the further open and constructive dialogue between the two countries.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited the new President of Germany to visit Uzbekistan.
